FINAL SEMESTER: STARTING THE LAST LEG OF MY UCD JOURNEY
I’ve just settled down into my old spot in the UCD library to write this post. Really I’m just giving myself something to do so that I don’t have to launch into module work, but I’ll just disguise my procrastination in the form of a blog update. That, and I’m still in a little bit of shock that the Christmas break could be over so soon – I’m desperately trying to hide from that reality.
Typically enough, this reality avoidance was greatly helped by the huge amount of snow that fell in Donegal over the past fortnight. I genuinely didn’t think I’d make it into Letterkenny town, let alone back up to college. That said, we took some wonderful snow selfies. See for yourself.
Anyway… We’re all back. UCD started up again on Monday and I’m trying to come to terms with the fact that this is my very last semester in UCD. I can absolutely confirm that too – I received my results this morning from the Christmas exams and thankfully everything went according to plan. That was a massive relief. You all know how stressed I was, so luckily it paid off. And to celebrate, we’re off to Galway tomorrow! It’s been a really long time since I’ve gone out in Gtown, so I’m pretty excited. Plus a lot of the SLS committee are going to be there, so I figure that it counts as an excuse for bus/nightclub/ post-club-bus-breakfast bonding.
We’ve law ball in less than a month, for which I’ve a suitably sparkly dress ready for, and we’ve a few other ideas and outings in the works at the minute too.
Right, I guess I really should start some reading before it becomes unbearable. Wish me luck.
