THE WAITING GAME.
The weather is Paris has been exceptional these past few days. It feels so odd for December but a welcomed change nonetheless. I kinda feel like it’s Paris telling us that it’s sorry for inflicting so much study stress on us over the past few weeks and now it’s ensuring our send-off back home for Christmas finishes on a high note. It’s making me incredibly happy anyway 🙂
So today is the last day of term. Most of the guys in the house here have already left and those that haven’t all seem to be catching a plane at some stage today. Though I’m leaving on Sunday, it currently seems miles away just because everyone else gets their home time that little bit in advance. I’ve my last weekend in Paris before Christmas to myself and I’m not entirely sure what I’m going to do with it.
Markets? Cafes? Shopping? Probably all of the above. I’ve a few last minute presents to buy, so I guess I’ll spend these next few days trying to find those!
My suitcase is already packed. Took all of five minutes… That’s not a sign of how organised I am, that’s a sign of how little I brought over with me. 20kg isn’t much when a huge amount of that is taken up with books…
Anyway, I’m almost home. I’ll be heading out Sunday night in the big old town of Letterkenny – see you all there 🙂
