PARISIAN DIARIES: GETTING READY TO FLY HOME FOR CHRISTMAS

 In My Blogroll
This time next week I’ll have touched down in Dublin and will be heading home for Christmas. My dad and my grandfather are picking me up at the airport – I haven’t seen either for at least six months. Thinking about how long it’s been since I’ve been home and how long it’s been since I’ve seen everyone, the fact that it’s all just a week away seems almost surreal. I’ll be able to sleep in my own bed, we’ll have our own Christmas tree set up and dinner won’t be cooked by me for the first time in quite a while.

I can’t wait.
I know it’s been a little while since I last posted any updates about life here in Paris, but that’s because there really hasn’t been much to update everyone on. I’m still studying away my life and I haven’t anything massively scandalous to report. Well, I guess I got my Christmas shopping all out of the way which was a plus. I took a day off and headed into the markets. I felt that I needed the time just to relax and soak in the Christmas atmosphere here. Realistically, there’s good chance that this might be my one Christmas in Paris, so I am trying to make the most of it.
I’ll post more updates once I’ve had a little bit more free time!
Sorcha x
